Day 2: Delhi to Agra (Approx. 240 km)
Leave the capital behind in comfortable private transport as we drive south toward Agra. Upon arrival, check into the hotel before heading out to visit the world-famous Taj Mahal, the timeless Mughal monument to eternal love. Admire the breathtaking marble architecture in the soft late-afternoon light before enjoying a quiet evening in Agra.
Day 3: Agra to Fatehpur Sikri to Delhi (Approx. 250 km)
After breakfast, embark on a short drive to explore Fatehpur Sikri, the extraordinary 16th-century red sandstone city built by Emperor Akbar and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through the grand Buland Darwaza and courtyard palaces before taking our return drive back to Delhi for an early night.
Day 4: Delhi to Amritsar (Vande Bharat Express Train) (Approx. 450 km)
Experience India’s modern high-speed rail on the Vande Bharat Express from Delhi to the holy city of Amritsar. Check into your hotel upon arrival, then head directly to the Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) to witness its shimmering reflection in the sacred pool. In the afternoon, travel to the India-Pakistan border to witness the patriotic flag-lowering Wagah Border Ceremony. Overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 5: Amritsar to Dharamshala (Approx. 200 km)
The riding portion of our expedition officially begins! Collect your Royal Enfield motorcycles in Amritsar, complete a thorough check, and hit the road. Leave the flat plains behind as you start a gradual ascent into the foothills of the Himalayas. Ride through winding forest roads to reach Dharamshala / McLeod Ganj, the spiritual home of the Dalai Lama.
Day 6: Dharamshala to Mandi (Approx. 130 km)
Ride deeper into the Kangra Valley, navigating a winding mix of mountain roads and rural mountain passes. Ride past lush green tea gardens in Palampur and historic stone temples before arriving in Mandi, a historic town nestled along the banks of the roaring Beas River, often referred to as the "Varanasi of the Hills."
Day 7: Mandi to Sarahan (Approx. 210 km)
Today, you enter the enchanting gate of the Kinnaur region. The route follows the deep gorge of the Sutlej River, where tarmac roads give way to dramatic cliffside tracks. Climb up through dense oak and pine forests to reach the serene village of Sarahan, home to the centuries-old, wood-and-stone Bhimakali Temple set against snow-capped peaks.
Day 8: Sarahan to Sangla (Approx. 95 km)
A short but incredibly scenic day in the saddle. Ride deeper into the stunning Sangla Valley (Baspa Valley), widely celebrated for its emerald-green apple orchards, wooden bridges, and rushing glacier-fed streams. Arrive in Sangla with plenty of time to explore the local village streets or take a short ride toward Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border.
Day 9: Sangla to Reckong Peo (Approx. 40 km)
Throttles forward into the heart of Kinnaur. Ride along winding mountain tracks carved into sheer rock walls as you approach Reckong Peo, the administrative hub of the district. The real highlight here is the breathtaking panoramic view of the sacred Kinnaur Kailash mountain peak rising sharply into the sky. Overnight stay in Reckong Peo / Kalpa.
Day 10: Reckong Peo to Tabo (Approx. 150 km)
Watch the green landscape fade away as you cross into the barren, high-altitude cold desert of the Spiti Valley. Navigate rugged dirt tracks, river crossings, and dramatic canyon trails along the Spiti River. Arrive at the peaceful, ancient village of Tabo, home to the famous 1,000-year-old Tabo Monastery, often referred to as the "Ajanta of the Himalayas."
Day 11: Tabo to Kaza (Approx. 50 km)
A short, thrilling ride higher into the moonlike desert landscape. En route to Kaza, take a detour to visit the cliffside Dhankar Monastery, perching dramatically on a razor-sharp cliff overlooking the valley confluence. Continue your ride into Kaza, the vibrant cultural capital and main trading center of Spiti Valley. (1st Night in Kaza)
Day 12: Kaza to Kibber to Kaza (Approx. 80 km)
A dedicated day to explore the high-altitude wonders around Kaza. Ride up switchbacks to visit Kibber Village (one of the highest inhabited settlements on earth) and cross the iconic Chicham Bridge, the highest bridge in Asia. Visit the famous Kee Monastery perched on its iconic hill before heading to Hikkim to send a postcard from the world's highest post office. Return to Kaza for the night. (2nd Night in Kaza)
Day 13: Kaza to Manali (Approx. 185 km)
An epic, challenging riding day across raw trans-Himalayan terrain. Tackle the rugged off-road riverbeds of the Spiti valley before ascending the mighty Kunzum Pass (14,931 ft). Descend into Lahaul Valley and zoom through the 9.02 km long engineering wonder of the Atal Tunnel, emerging into the lush green pine forests of Manali.
Day 14: Manali (Rest Day)
A well-earned rest day for both riders and machines. Sleep in, take a relaxing hot shower, get your laundry done, or explore Old Manali's vibrant cafes and wooden temples. Mechanics will conduct a full check-up on all motorcycles to ensure everything is in top shape for the final leg back to Delhi.
Day 15: Manali to Chail (Approx. 280 km)
Leave the crowded valley behind and point your front wheel south through Himachal's winding hills. Cruise past the mountain slopes of Kullu and Mandi before ascending to the quiet, forest-covered hill station of Chail, famous for its historic palace, thick pine woods, and the world's highest cricket ground.
Day 16: Chail to Delhi (Approx. 340 km)
The final day on the road. Enjoy the long, smooth descent down the Himalayan foothills onto the modern multi-lane highway leading back to New Delhi. Park the bikes, hand over the keys, and celebrate your achievement! In the evening, join the entire team and fellow riders for a grand Farewell Dinner to receive your Certificates of Completion.
Day 17: Departure from Delhi
